Universal Development constructs and manages multifamily communities within a 60 miles radius from Youngstown Ohio and within the Columbus Ohio metro area. All applicants must have reliable transportation, be honest and motivated to work.

We typically conduct a phone interview, an individual person to person interview, a group interview and for most positions, applicants take a profile test. We also require every applicant to agree to a background, credit and drug test screening. Full/Part-Time Sales Agent/Open House Hostess
Hermitage, PA, Poland, OH and Cranberry, PA

Candidates being considered must have strong customer service skills, physically able to inspect/walk the property, handle computer transactions, be comfortable cold calling to attract new customers must enjoy selling to the public and must demonstrate strong closing techniques. 2 years experience in a related retail/sales field preferred. This position will work closely with their manager in a team environment. Sales commission and competitive base wages will be offered to qualified candidates. These positions involve a 7 day a week business (not holidays) and may require attendance at some evening special events..


Full Time
Property Manager
Columbus and Youngstown, Ohio Area

Market rate apartment community needs a responsible property manager with 5 years or more management experience. Qualified individuals with a strong sales background will have an advantage to succeed in this position. This person must also feel comfortable supervising and leading a small staff towards achieving financial goals as established by a budget and operational goals of maintaining a successful property. It is also necessary for this person to physically inspect the interior and exterior of the property on a daily basis, negotiate with subcontractors, keep accurate resident files, collect rent, perform basic computer skills, file evictions when necessary, do outreach marketing in local area, maintain a positive professional relationship with all residents and oversee and direct daily maintenance. This position reports to the District Manager.

Minimum of 5 yrs. experience in successful residential or apartment maintenance to be considered for these critical positions within our management company. Must have HVAC certification, transportation, hand tools, and an excellent customer service attitude. Random drug testing will be done. Positions are full time w/benefits.
